Mark King Standard in ABQ
« on: January 09, 2026, 12:04:44 PM »
This has been up for over a month, with "updates" every few days.  Seems like a good price though it has some hairline cracks in the ebony.  I've messaged them several times with no reply, so guessing it's a scam.

pretty sure i've seen that bass around somewheres else before.  it is kinda unique even for an alembic.  seems like a suspiciously low price to me, perhaps to reel in the unwary.  good luck to all!
Been down...now i'm out!

Those cracks, fretboard dried out?  Seems odd.

New Mexico has more cracks per fingerboard inch than any other state

This one was on Reverb a few months back. Vanished at about 8K.
