Attention: left-handed bass players (Reverb)

Can't be too many of these - left-handed Series I short scale with a pretty top. Kinda pricey, but maybe that's justified by the rarity?

They must have installed short-scale strings, whereas the bass is listed as a 32" scale.

As in a lot of Reverb listings, the "Product Specs' are a bit off. It says there it's a right-handed Persuader, so I have my doubts about the 32" scale.

Some string makers' ideas of "short scale" are quite short. Those strings might have been designed for a 30.0" scale and less distance from the tailpiece/string anchors to the bridge saddles.

For the price, the shop should spring for a fresh set of CX-3s that would fit correctly.

I haven't been to Evansville, IN. since 1997. It's right across the Ohio River from Owensboro, KY, where they used to hold IBMA's annual World of Bluegrass event. And where the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum still are. We played there when paint on the walls wasn't quite dry. Anyway... Evansville was the closest airport. At that point in my life I had played only one Alembic. It was the only one I'd ever seen in person.

Doesn't Reverb list every Alembic as a Persuader by default? And does anyone know why?
