Todd Snider has passed

I wasn't familiar with his work, but he was a member of Hard Working Americans with Dave Schools, Neal Casal, Chad Staehly, and Duane Trucks; names some of you have worked with or you know their music.  And he's well-known as a singer songwriter with a 30+ year career.

Yes.  This is going to be a sad story.  He was admitted to a hospital in Salt Lake City for injuries sustained in an attack outside a venue he was performing at.  The hospital released him against his will....then he was arrested for that.  Bailed out and returned home to get progressively sicker.  He died of pneumonia.  If he Had pneumonia while in hospital.....there may be a stink brewing.

I attended the Billy Strings concert last Saturday. Billy opened with "Play a Train Song" and told a story about him and Todd Snider.

And yes, I read about Snider's dying of pneumonia just a few days after the hospital release and arrest incident.

Being a Dave Schools fan I am familiar with Hard Working Americans.  Never listened to them, need to investigate their catalog.

Saw the same sad news surrounding Todd’s passing, gonna focus on his creativity and let the other stuff go.
