RIP

I have learned that George Mundy, 79, (who built the electronics in Phil's Mission Control bass) passed away, probably in late July or early August; the obit is dated Aug. 9, but doesn't give the date of his passing.

That really hits me hard as I knew George. He did a considerable amount of work on my old Guild Starfire that can be found on this site on the link that I provided.
He showed me his work in progress of Phil's Bass on his workbench while I was at his home workshop. Likewise, he also let me check out his Pluto Filter pedal at the time and told me about his musical endeavours. I visited him a few times in the 1970s, since he lived just a few blocks from my parents house. At the time, I was also an audio engineering student, and he was very kind in answering my many questions, He taught me a few concepts in that progress with a calm demeanour and clarity.

It appears that the images that were present before are now missing ! https://club.alembicguitars.com/index.php?topic=8984.0
