Edwin van Who-ik?

More like, Edward of Whats-at... I've lost count of how many times this one has come up for sale. It's one of my favorite Alembics ever. Can only think of one EVH I like better.

Alas, I am out of this game... just sharing a cool one. There's also a really nice Martin guitar in my Reverb feed today. I sent this one on down the line too.

If that is a maple body core , it should sound so crisp with the filters fully open.

I remembered that it was white, but I couldn't remember if it was originally white and was stripped to the maple, or painted white over the maple after the fact. I personally liked the natural maple better, but a 5-string EvH, in medium-scale... yessir.  We could've made fine music together. I wonder where that bass is now?

The one in the subject of original post is in Florida (possibly a Club Member?) but it's been several places on the eastern shore of the United States. I was tempted by it a couple times.
