Wiring for three way Q switch
« on: August 27, 2025, 03:03:02 PM »
Does anyone have any information on the correct wiring for a three-way Q switch to replace a two wayQ switch?

This thread used to have a pdf of the instructions, they may have been lost with the recent website migration.  If you call Alembic they can provide you with an instruction sheet.

I'm sure there's been some changes since 1997, but something is better than nothing at all. This will certainly give me a start.

I'm not sure that's exactly what you're looking for.  Aren't you asking about making the boost switch (essentially a 2-way) on your SC Signature into a 3-way?  As in, you want more boost?  I'm not sure I've seen instructions for that but somebody in here will know if that's doable.

That 2 to 3 way is doable, I had it done on my signature basses some years back. If i remember properly, it came from alembic as pre wired switches and maybe some other bits that i had to swap with the originals and do a bit of soldering.

Hey fellas
The swap is for my Spoiler 5 . The switch came by itself with wires connected 👌, but with no installation instructions. The original switch is a 2 way.
