Hello.  Could you please tell me what information you have on Alembic bass serial #07C13748?  It's custom model, 32 scale, set neck, SN on back of peg head and a body shape that has an omega on the bottom (but more of a C shape than other Alembics where the 2 points curve inward).

Yes, that's it!  That actually answers my question about whether this is an authentic Alembic!  Certainly seems so, but the placement of the neck pickup so close to the fretboard and the shape of the omega had me questioning authenticity.  Thank you so much for pointing me to this!

You're most welcome. I remember that bass well because of those features, and because it had been discussed here a few times over the years. I figured that had to be it, or an odd coincidence.

*since this bass was a Custom order, it's possible Mica's notes may contain information about the pickup placement. I know we discussed this specifically when designing my bass. As well as the shape of the Omega-cut. These are somewhat unique.
