My Orion's preamp died. How do I get a new one?

I'm happy to sell you a new preamp, but we should check a couple of things first. Can you send a picture of the electronics as they are installed now?

Mica, I sent you an email with photos on August 22. Not sure if you've seen it.

Check to see if the solder side of the filter board is touching the cavity. It's hard to tell but if it is it can short out the signal completely.

Was the Q-switch added? When it died, I'm sure you replaced the battery, and made sure it was a good one.

When it died, was it sudden? Did any other sounds happen before it died?

It died slowly. First, just the bridge pickup became very noisy. A tiny bit of noise from the neck pickup, and then, one day, no sound at all.

The q switch was added by a previous owner over 10 years ago. I've had the bass for 10 years, with no issues until this, which lasted for about 6 months.

The solders seem fine to me.
