Michael Madsen passed away today at age 67.
Maybe not quite one of the greats, but I never saw him do a bad job in any movie.

Can't say I was familiar with him, but the name rang a familiar bell, and sure enough his sister Virginia appears in a couple films I have enjoyed.

Yeah, his sister is good, too (I especially liked her in
Soap Dish
, with Sally Fields, Kevin Kline, The Whoopster, & Robt. Downey, Jr.)
