Well that is good to see... Big Brown plays on.

I don't know if I ever realized it before, but there are at least two different sizes of the Raytheon 'witch-hat' knobs, as seen here on Big Brown. And my older Series bass has the larger of them on all four pots. Don't know why, just does. I checked it against my '67 Starfire, which has the original knobs from my 1980 Series bass currently in the shop, and my other Alembics, all of which wear witch-hats. I guess they are the smaller sized ones. (?)


Interesting. I never saw them side-by-side. Look at the difference in scale.

It was cool to see Graham play Big Brown recently.  Lesh still on the bass!!
The only thing that stays the same is change.
