I know, you know, this is bumpkis.  BUT someone not as informed may be taken advantage of.  The "Alembic" part of the ad should be removed.

Agreed, really misleading. It should be described as bass with alembic pickups and electronics.
Bit early for April Fools joke. :-)

I’m not super educated as to the shape of various Alembic pickups, but these sure don’t look authentic.  Mica can surely verify.

Looks like AXY's, mounted the wrong way :-)


Also looks like the neck pickup has been modified with countersunk screws...


Edit: looks like both pickups have countersunk screws: Neck pickup on both sides and bridge pickup on the right side.

Well not my taste in body style but if the pickup and electronics are working properly, it should sound really nice.

The instrument is junk, but the rest of the electronics and hardware might actually be worth making an offer.
