Strictly speaking, not an "Orion" - Essence electronics in an Orion-style body.

I only have one fretless... and it's not an Alembic. And this is reasonably close to me (this is the shop where I got my Alembic a couple years ago). Someone please buy this, it would really set me back on saving for a Series I short scale....

not sure if this helps but i have an essence 5-string fretless i that i think about letting go from time to time that i'll part with for a lot less than than that if yer in the market.  unlined.  neck-thru. OHSC.  FretFX LEDs.  somehow i'm back up to 6 basses and i'm running outta space.  i've got another high end fretless and the band i'm in doesn't do fretless kinda music so this one's been riding the bench. i'll consider a reasonable offer less than my asking price.

Doesn't help at all  ;D

Fortunately, I'm really not a 5-string player (left hand counts to 5 just fine, right hand gets confused beyond 4).
