Another very nice Persuader, in as many days. They are a little bit off describing the pickup, but I'm guessing they just read some ad copy and assumed all Alembics had the same pickups. (this bass should have a single AXY, and not a "SB II silent single coil... we all know that) I think it's just an honest misinterpretation rather rather an intentional mislead.

I must confess, sometimes I would love to have a single pickup Alembic. Not necessarily a Spoiler/Persuader body and definitely not piano black.

If I was to have a single pickup alembic it would suit me to have a neck pickup as that is what I use mostly. I've always preferred the natural wood finish of alembics over the solid colour finish. That said i love the way my black europa sounds so whilst in the past I considered having it stripped back to it's flame maple top, that is not happening anytime soon. It looks. really smart.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!
