I forgot it was extra-long scale. I guess if you're badass enough to play a Triple-O 5-string Series II with wall-to-wall Cocobolo... what's another inch of reach...?  8)

dunno if you've played a 35" 5iver before.  ya wouldn't think that extra skinny inch would make that much difference, but an open sting plucked on one whilst hanging from a strap will make yer fillings rattle unplugged.
that one looks like it's got 3 ebony neck lams.  unless that cut down body has a whole lotta weight to counterbalance  that neck with the long 3+2 headstock (didn't we jsut have that discussion?) it's gotta be a neck diving machine!  oh wait.  it's cocobolo!   whoooo!

well somebody went for it.  i kinda thought about shooting the guy a lowball but then id have yet another museum piece that i'd be afraid of losing at a dive bar somewheres in the soft white underbelly of the denver cover band circuit.  besides i gots something cool showing up  later today provided the arctic blast we're having right here in the mile high doesn't derail the UPS guy.

good luck to all!

and again.  and again.

almost makes me wanna think aboot it.  gotta say my SII makes my MKD sound like a second cousin to the point my bandmates notice it.  tryin to think of the reaction i'd get if i showed up to rehearsal sportin this bad boy.  i'm stuck playing seated until my cast comes off so what the heck.  the stock market's coming back.  sort of.

something aboot this seller's creds raise a red flag with me.  i dunno.  been a long day.  good luck to all!

Takeo, I may have one for you as I have been debating about selling.

Also, the Roman Conquerer is not mint. It had several cracks on the top.

You know, the lower bout looks like finish cracks....but the seller lists it as Mint......but he only kept it 4 months.....hmmmmmm
Mica states Coco Bolo is an oily wood.....is finish checking common with this wood?

The seller's face kind of shows up in one of the back photos. With some advanced AI, it might be able to do a face search on him. Definately one cool looking instrument.

Cracking is somewhat common with this Quilted Cocobolo - it's the oiliest of the oily.
