Orion bass electronics wanted

A while back, I bought a used Orion 5-string bass. As it now turns out, I got swindled; I took it to my usual wonderful tech/luthier guy (Kevin McPhail), who called Alembic and determined that the electronics were *not* Alembic, but apparently came from "Boogieman". And they don't work. I was excited when I bought it, and easy to swindle. I want the bass to work as an Alembic Orion. I believe the most straightforward way to do this is to source a vol/pan/treble/bass control set (preferably with wiring diagram), remove and discard the existing stuff, and install the proper stuff. Apparently the pickups work.
Can anyone help?

I know exactly how you feel, David... it's how I ended up here years ago. Does your Orion still have its pickups? If so, the wiring harness for that set isn't terribly expensive...not cheap, but not the end of the world either. It should be just a Volume, Pan, with Bass and Treble rotary boost/cut controls. Call or email the shop and see if they can put you together a ready-made set. They are all modular parts, so it's very easy to install.

Sorry to hear about that.  Orion/Epic electronics works, but I think filter/Q-switch(3 position) gives you better flexibility instead of treble/bass. 
Once you get used to the filter/Q setup, there's no going back

You should have an email from me, David. What I didn't mention is there isn't really any wiring diagram needed as there is no wiring - just plug everything together. We usually ship with the electronics all plugged together so you just have to plug in your pickups.

If the connector was cut off your pickups let me know and we can include some small lengths you can splice on the pickups to make them modular again.
