Old Alembic A-18 Cab with JBL K151 on Reverb
« on: August 30, 2024, 12:12:23 PM »
Thought this might be of interest to someone.  Original Alembic cab with JBL 18" speaker.  It appears to be local pickup in L.A. only.

gotta weigh a ton.  i'm guessing this one cab outweighs my whole stage rig (2 x10 + 1x15  cabs plus amps). might as well put a 4x10 cab on top, go back to an all tub3 rack and hire a coupla grunts to move it around and set it up for me .  bet it's got tone to die for. good luck to all

Checks out as another item from the Estate of Dan Schwartz. (also had the mega-custom Series II bass and rack with an Alembic IN-2 & F-2B and a McIntosh amp... it's still up)

Yeah, shipping that thing would be $illy. On the other hand, Los Angeles is probably an easier place to offload an item like that. Nobody around here would likely even know what it was.
