I have most of the parts to restore the pickups and electronics, purchased bits and pieces online over time.

I am mostly interested in the body wood confirmation, it is light colored and I am hoping it is birch, but we will see what the build card says.

It is in transit to me now and I will post current photos when I receive it.

Yep, this is 76-582. I still have the original ad with pics saved in my 'favorites' because I corresponded with the seller. Rob showed me a picture the other day of his new project bass, and I recognized it. Someone else had bought it offa' Reverb and did some more whittlin'. Finally, 582 is going to get put back right.
