Yes so sad. I remember picking up their debut album produced by Grover Washington Jr on my first trip to the states after hearing it blaring out of a record shop somewhere in Washington DC. Loved that album and Cedric played an alembic bass on that album. I think i will revist that album an relive my enjoyment of his playing. R.I.P.

Thanks Jazzy,, as my memory serves, they were opening for Anita Baker, around 1986, I was told that show was phenomenal !!

Here they are in 1984 , Cedric is playing a B.C. Rich Mockingbird , the very Herbie Hancock-esqe , "Mount Airy Groove" !

That's sad news but I am grateful to learn about an amazing band from this.
