That’s an interesting looking body on the Series I bass, almost like a Starfire construction (??), or is it just the image quality?

I noticed that, too, probably a nod to Phil's modified Starfire. Looks nice, wonder if it is short scale?

That was formerly Robert "Kool" Bell's bass, custom made in a shape echoing his Oasis bass, a very rare (and gorgeous) instrument.
