Estate of Dan Schwartz | Alembic Items for Sale
« on: May 02, 2024, 08:02:04 PM »
Hi There,
My name is Claire, I'm the daughter of Dan Schwartz – a bass player, Alembic collector, and friend of Rick Turner's. My dad passed last year, and we're parting with some of his instruments and gear. There are a few Alembic pieces we're selling, and I thought I'd post here in case anyone's looking to expand their collection. You can find our Reverb shop here:

Hi Claire,

We're so sorry for your loss.  Dan was a great guy and a great musician and has many fans here in the forum and at Alembic HQ.  We're already following your listings in this thread:

We wish you the best of luck with the sales and hope that the pieces you're selling will go to somebody who will appreciate and make more good music with them.

Hello  Claire,

Your Dad will always be sorely missed  :-[

I once called his Alembic the "Man of War" !

It was so wonderful to hear him laugh when I said that !!

As Mr. Jimmy has said, your Dad was a great guy !

Wishing you all blessings and peace in this difficult time !

Philip.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I miss mine everyday. This message is about the sf2 filter. You're asking price is basically retail of last year cuz the company really jacked the price up this year. The few that I've seen go for sale in recent times has been anywhere from 12 to 1800 dollars. I would gladly give you 1800 bucks but I can't do 2,800 if you're still interested please get back with me. You can contact me at chaspatm@gmail or here.
Thanks, Charles Muir
