Tony Lucindo / Heart
« on: May 01, 2024, 10:52:44 AM »
We just spruced up the electronics on Tony's bass before this tour. Found some appearances on YouTube:

There's lots of audience videos, too. We used the new RF upgrade chip in the bass and it's getting a great test, performing like it should.

No accounting for people's taste in axes, but I always thought Nancy with a Little Darling (with a heart-shaped cutout at the tail) would be a no-brainer.  Maybe they're just not her.  Maybe it's TOO obvious.

I'm going with Flip's call... early koa-wing Spoiler. Cool 80's vibe.  8)

Yes, early Koa Spoiler - I should have mentioned that in the original post

Very cool! I noticed the Spoiler in a live vid on YouTube recently. I've got tickets for their Chicago (Rosemont) show on May 17. Cheap Trick is opening, and it's less than 5 miles from my house, so it was a no brainer. I've never seen Heart, and Ann still sounds amazing.

Boy, talk about full circle! Their first bass player, Steve Fossen, played the long scale small bodied Series I fretless that I now have, and now their current guy is using a Spoiler. If you demand the best, it only makes sense to stick with the best! 8)
