Boris the Freeloader :-)
« on: April 19, 2024, 01:10:44 AM »
For a few weeks now Boris has move into a luxury apartment called "Classico Headstock".
Interestingly he does not seem bothered by me practicing or the vibrations through the body. Thankfully I haven't seen him rushing along the Rosewood neck boulevard in the middle of my practice session. :-)
Anyone else have some of mother nature's creatures setting up home in or on their alembic?

The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

 :)

I was playing one night with HGB, an outdoor gig, and the lights attracted a swarm of beetles. They. Were. Everywhere.

A year or so ago, I had a huge wolf spider living in my basement. Of course I named him Boris.  ;D He was starting to freak out my wife and daughter too much, so I had to put him outside.

I remember an old interview with Karen Carpenter where she said she once took a deep breath at a big outdoor gig to sing a note and sucked in a huge moth. I think it was on Johnny Carson.
