Noooooooooooooo! Been a fan since the late 70’s when my ex and her conservatory classmates turned me on to his nonsense! Saw him with the Seattle Symphony in the 90’s.

I saw him once in the late 70’s. Fabulous! Slap-stick chamber orchestra music played on some of the goofiest instruments ever. I’ve got “The Wurst of P.D.Q. Bach” and “1712 Overture and Other Musical Assaults.”
RIP PDQ.

I saw him back in the 70’s when I was in college. Really enjoyed it … very funny!

A talented guy with a great twisted sense of humor - sending up the Classical music world which sometimes takes itself too seriously. My father played bass in the Minnesota Orchestra for 40 years and when Mr. Schickele came to town and did his great Sportscaster's call of Beethoven's 5th, my dad got to be the player "injured on the play". He got a big kick out of that.

My university residence roommate gave me a double-reed slide music stand for my birthday in 1975, inspired by PDQ Bach. I loved those records. He was a super talented character. Sorry he is gone.
