since the mighty MKDeluxe sustained some body damage during my last round of auditions, a maple-bodied essence is high on my shopping list, especially if it's a 5-er. this looks like the one on reverb:

leaning pretty heavily toward a snappy-sounding bar-hopper for my last bass purchase but i still haven't ruled out one of the museum pieces currently up for sale yet.
