why anyone would take an unlined fretless essence with LEDS built in, have the LEDS ripped out and then put frets in it?  hadda cost a small fortune.  mike lull must've scrathed his head when this one came in the shop. my heart sunk when i read that.  my first alembic was an unlined fretless essence.  glad that this isn't it. yow!

Reminds me of when Jose Canseco played for the Oakland A’s.   He bought a $75K Jaguar, then spent another $25K to have it modified like a street racer Camaro!
