At last!
At age 46 i managed to acquire an Essence.
The dream came true!
I am so happy and so excited.
After watching soooo many videos on the internet i decided that i will go for an Essence because of the tone,the looks/shape,the weight and the simplicity of the electronics(i am not the "bells and whistles" type of guy)
The clean tone,the crisp,the growl,the huge tone is UNBELIEVABLE!
Everything is precise,very easy to play,so smooth...oh boy,there are no words to describe what i feel!
In combination with my Mesa/Boogie WalkAbout Scout amp,this bass RULES!
From all the bass videos i have watched also from other brands,only the Alembic tone is the same in video and reality.IMO this means that the tone is natural. Maybe i am wrong but this is what the bass makes me feel.
This is the first time that i l play with a neckthrough,i was always used to play with bolt-ons.When i opened the case and touched the bass for the first time, i instantly realised that this is something different.I felt the quality...
Before purchase i was reading and reading and reading information in this club.
Now i realise that all this information is real,all this information is in my hands.

I have 2 bands.The Essence will go with the groove slap rock band.
A d-tuner will be installed,new straplocks,Q switch upgrade soon,flatwound strings,set up...an the journey to the heaven of tone begins!
