LED cable
« on: September 10, 2004, 08:10:49 AM »
Hi,

I made 5 pin cable (Neutric and CANARE) with blue LED.
LED was simply conected pin 4 and pin 5 with resistor.

I made it for power indicator. (DS-5 is no indicator)
But It is lighting when it out from AC.
I think LED is powered by capacitor.
(LED needs only a few mA current.)
I don't get any other troubles now.

Of course, I yearn the bass with shiny LED.
My dream is come true only $ 1 (for parts).

That's really cool Room037 - you could probably sell these - and make a pretty decent return.

Very cool.  I think I'll try that.  I've been meaning to make myself a backup cable.  Great idea.

Hi,
Thank you for your interest.
It's easy for electronic, but fitting needs little bit tips.
Let's try it !
