(x) '86 Series II(?) Exploiter/Explorer(?) SN 86 3909
« on: October 13, 2023, 06:59:48 PM »
So this has been the topic of discussion more than once. One time kinda didn't end well.
It didn't have it's build sheet so I'm looking for clarity on what it is.
It's a wonderful bass whatever it might be tho  :)

Thanks in advance :)

I couldn't find a previous request for this build sheet, so I guess the search function isn't behaving. Here's what I found in the instrument file:

top: Maple
body: Mahogany
back: Maple
neck: Maple and Purpleheart
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: Pearloid (plastic) ovals
electronics: Series II
originally sold to: Interamerica Trading Company, CT
birthday: February 28, 1986

Happy belated birthday to your bass.

It was repaired in May 1986, the truss rods rattled. There were a few other set up details we fine tuned at the time.

A belated thank you :-) I've been sidetracked so I've been away for a bit.
I guess its birthday was last Wednesday . Cool!
