Alembic California Special Owners…

Do you own one?  Or used to own one?  Would love to hear some stories from owners, and/or see some pics.

Such a rare and beautiful looking model, but I can never find much discussion of them online.

Haven’t played one since the 1980’s when I was a kid.

A store called Steve’s Quality Instruments in Danvers MA sold them back then.

I think there was one for sale in Italy on Reverb. I thought it was a one off order.

There are a few in the Showcase threads. And I remember a short discussion about them a while back. I have never seen one in-person.

Steve Miller had a green one.  It was for sale at Guitar Showcase in San Jose a few years ago.
