I wonder if this could be a guitar version of the Shinseido Retro-spec Alembic? I have never seen one, so I don't know, just read an old, old post or two about them, and I can't un-remember useless information like that. The chrome switches and old-style body and pickup locations check out. They came with channel bridges. (which of course always triggers me...) And either Series or Anniversary electronics. The gold Gotoh tuning machines are suggesting a newer-than-70's guitar too.

Yeah, I vote rare one.


*I don't see any holes in the backplate for trimpot adjustment, or a 5-pin jack, so I am guessing that this one is equipped with Anniversary electronics. Still pretty sweet guitar. Never seen one before. Mister Miyagi would be jealous!

I didn't note that it was made in 2000. 70s style. I have no affiliation. I just have a habit of following the Japanese Yahoo auction site.

Interesting guitar. "The neck is almost straight"  kinda worries me, plus the aforementioned chrome switches and the non 5 pin output jack.
Wish I lived near there so I could see it.
