That guitar belonged to another Club Member here... he can probably confirm of this is where it went to...

Cool. Thank you. I'm still waiting on a quote for a Skylark build using family redwood. The last response I had from Mica was a week ago saying that I would get a quote that day. I still haven't. I'm guessing I need to practice buddhist monk like patience. I'm tempted to buy this one in the meantime but I don't know if I have to pay in full at the start of a build or just a deposit.

Twas mine, sold to a club member who is a stand up individual and not flipping it for profit. The asking price is very close to the buying price. An excellent bargain. Virtually mint I would say.

Thank you. Build question. Do they need all up front on a build or a deposit?

It's been a few years for me, so you'll need to check with the Mothership if anything has changed in the policy, but it involved a deposit up front and then the balance settled before delivery.

Thank you for the answer. That helps.

Very nice guitar, near mint condition. Had locking tuners on it, looks like the current owner installed the original tuners.

I sold it because the scale and neck were too small for my liking.  It is currently listed for $1000 more than what I sold it for (net to me was actually less due to Reverb fees and shipping costs). I bought it for $4k from a very respectable club member.

I would say that the currently listed price is not necessarily a flip since they will have to pay reverb fees (8.2%), and they had to pay tax when they bought it.  Their ad says they might post it to The Gear Page and possibly here at some point, so a direct sale may bring the price down in absence of fees.

I have no affiliation.

Looks like somebody bought it.
