Great price. String spacing isn't for me but a gorgeous PJ5.

those maple core elans are the shizzle, captain!  if yer lookin for a bass with that tear-your-face-clean-off screamin alembic tone then snatch this baby up and put a fresh set of rotosound rounds on it and crank that stack t0 11.

not a bad price.  a heckuva lot cheeeper than some of the premium instrumnts i've seen for sale lately.   jsut sayin'

I'm with you on the maple core thing - my bass is very similar construction, except it doesn't have the (purpleheart?) neck laminations, and it can do anything from mellow P-bass, through grindy P-bass or Rick 4001 to OMG ALEMBIC!. And that's a very nice price.

But I'll mildly disagree on the Rotosounds - I'm really digging CX-3s on my bass, and they just seem to be getting better with age.
