Very nice. I would be a potential buyer if I was in the US.

... so this listing was near me and i couldn't resist trying it out. Owner said it wasn't played for 10+ years. The neck wood shrank a fair bit and it's in dire need of a setup. The bridge also needs some TLC, but nothing that can't be fixed. Its gorgeous cosmetically and I ended up taking it home. We'll see how the restoration goes.

Congratulations! Pretty bass, love the contrast between the color of the top and body wood. Should be easy enough to clean the hardware and one of the best things about any Alembic is how "user friendly" and easy they are to set-up. Play it in good health!

Congrats! I was tossing in my sleep thinking about that bass. Please post a photo or two when you can.

Here are a couple new family pics. I took a few before starting work on it.

Screws were all stuck, but i managed to mostly disassemble the bridge. However there are these stubborn posts on one end that don't seem to come out no matter what i do. I did WD40, gentle heat, plier, hammering but no luck. Any ideas?

I heard this stuff called "Superzilla" is amazing! It actually travels places oil wont go even up vertical threads.

Superzilla is a superior cleaner, superior lubricant and superior penetrating oil in one formula.

Thank you for the photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That bass sold last week.  I called and the seller said he forgot to remove the ad.
