The greatest electric bass player who ever lived, the incomparable Mr. Phillip Chapman Lesh, is 83 years old today!  (83?? Surely that can't be right!).

I posted this earlier today on another thread, but I thought it deserved to be reposted in this one:

As I get older, (68 next month), I am more and more amazed watching Phil keep it going for multi-night gigs, (current one is four shows in five nights) at the age of 83!  Happy Birthday, Phil.  Kick out the jams tonight!
