Latest Version of My Pedal-Board
« on: March 05, 2023, 01:37:03 PM »
I remade my pedal-board, adding a One Control Agamidae Tail loop switcher.   The board contains both a “before the amp” circuit, and an effects loop circuit.   You will also notice a Quilter Superblock U.S. pedal amp in the upper left hand corner.    The board allows the option of pairing it with a regular guitar amp, or running it all through the Superblock and either out to a speaker cab, or direct to the mixing board.   The Superblock is an incredible piece of gear.   An excellent sounding amp in a pedal.  You can choose amongst Fender ‘57, ‘61, and ‘65 voices.   It’s rated at 25 watts, but I strongly suspect it would test out as more powerful.

Pretty cool, lots of pedals!  What are the two little gray ones with all the buttons?  And what kind of pedal board brand is it?  I like how all the cords appear to be underneath and it looks like it provides power to all the pedals too.

Hotone Xtomp Mini Bluetooth Modeling Effects Pedals.    These are really cool.   You download a free app that gives you well over 100 different effects that you can load by Bluetooth from your phone in about 10 seconds.   The list includes amps, cabs, all kinds of pedals, even an Alembic F-2B preamp!   Most of the models are pretty good and, the ones that I have experience with the real deal, are darn close, like the MXR Phase 90 I have one programmed as right now.  I have one in my before-the-amp circuit, and the other in my effects loop circuit.    They are great to try new effects without having to buy a bunch.

The board is a Temple Audio Trio 21.   These are my favorite boards.   There are little plates that stick on the bottom of the pedal.  The pedal then mounts on the small holes on the surface of the board, and locks in with a thumb screw from underneath.   As solid as can be, and makes it easy to move stuff around.   A single power cord to the board powers the SanJune 15 outlet power supply and the Quilter Superblock.

You've grown out quite a bit since that PedalTrain Nano I got from you, Bill TGO... I still have that thing btw... I keep just four odd effects on there specifically for upright and non-Alembic basses... there's a Boss Chorus, Synth,  Acoustic Simulator, and a Resonant Lowpass Filter.

I hear very good things about those Quilter Superblock pedals.
