Just read elsewhere that bassist Michael Rhodes has passed...


One of the slickest bass guys I've ever heard pick up the instrument. I had almost gotten to a place where I could pick him out by ear on a recording.

Saw a note about his passing just a little while ago.  Nashville session bassist, he's played on a lot of albums.
