* Actually, I just realized that my very first post here was also about Mike Hampton, back on May 2, 2003 (!).  I started following the Club back then partly in hopes that I might catch one of these guitars.  It paid off!... literally almost 20 years later, haha!      I've certainly enjoyed the Club for many other reasons too, of course.

I am extremely happy to say that I snagged it.  Not exaggerating - I have been checking online nearly every day for the last 20+ years, waiting for an omega-cut long-scale Series 1 (or 2) guitar to come up for sale.  That probably sounds a bit crazy, but it has always been a dream guitar as my favorite guitarist played one.  They are incredibly hard to find; I am only aware of TWO that have come up for sale in the last 20 years.  No joke.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to pick up either of those before they sold, so I am completely thrilled that I was able to get this one before anyone else did.

Shoot, two Club Members racked-up on this thread. Double win, there. And if that Zebrawood-topped Omega one posted most recently had a different pickup and electronics configuration, I might be in some kind of crisis today, myself.
