Alembic Active cable

I noticed this Alembic Active cable in accessories. Will it work with a Fender bass or any other type of bass?

Yes.  It’s essentially a cable with a built-in Blaster.

As the description you saw on the site states:

The Active Cable™ is designed for use with passive instruments: bass, guitar and even acoustics. There is no advantage when used with an active instrument.
