Who are these happy people?

This nice-looking family is out of an old 70's early 80s Alembic brochure. Some of the "models" look like Mica! Mica, is that you as a little girl on the left? Is that Susan on
the right? who are the others? I like it!

My recollection is that Mica has said that she is indeed in the picture, responding to a comment posted some time ago.

I think that this was about 1980, so I'm 9 or 10. Jeff worked in the shop at the time, and Mary is my aunt for those who don't know. Shane is the son of the bookkeeper at the time, and Tyler is Sam Field's son, who now towers over us all.

So yeah, it's a family!

One of those ads was in the case with 81D-1986 when I got it. I still have it in a folder... probably should have sent it with all the basses' documents. Maybe I will leave it with 80-1684. Seems appropriate... guaranteed, at least a few of these folks had a hand in that one too.

What type of work did Jeff and Susan do?

Jeff worked in the shop building guitars. Susan isn't pictured, Mary is. Mary (my aunt) still works at Alembic. So does Susan (my mom) of course. My parents have always been camera shy. It's not hard to get kids in front of a camera though!
