For My Geetar-playin' Buddies here...
« on: August 25, 2022, 02:04:35 PM »
I met this guy today, Craigslist deal, bought my last Epi El-Pee, the one I called Dorothy. He drove all the way from Pulaski, said he had never seen another 56' Pro that color. We squared up on the dough, and she went to his place.

Anyway, he had this super-cool little homemade lunchbox amp. Thought you guys might get a kick out of it. Sounded pretty good!

Are those 2" (or so) speakers? How did the lunchbox sound?

Maybe 3" each...

It actually sounded pretty good. I think some insulation would've improved it. Definitely better than my little Danelectro Honeytone amp.

It's nice when you meet someone on Craigslist who isn't a creep. I've mostly had good experiences, but a couple weeks ago, I swear one knucklehead was going to rob me over a freakin' Epiphone guitar. The whole thing turned me off so much I thought about just quitting all of it.

What kind of amp was in the lunchbox?

Sorry to hear of the bad Craigslist experience.
