Do many of you experience the strap edge digging into the neck when playing the short-horned Series 1? As much as i like playing the series 1, i constantly move the strap OFF my neck to sit more comfortably on the shoulder. Long horned basses allow the strap to sit directly on the shoulder. No discomfort and pain. Are there options by Alembic to have a strap knob in the back of the bass? Like how the Stanley Clark series 1 and 2 models are set.
Notice how the strap lays flat in the middle of the shoulder, due to the strap knob location. The straps connected to the top short horn, twist and sit closer on the neck, digging into the neck.
