Anybody seen this fretless on ebey?

i haven't prowled ebay for instruments in a while because of all the shennagans therein and since i'm more or less fully provisioned in that department, but i do harber a secret inner hankering for a series I or II 5-string long scale unlined fretless with all the trimmings.  This one caught my eye because of the hum canceller.  looks like it's been dressed up.  the electronics appear to have been jacked with, gotta wonder to what extent.  price seems optimistic, but then they all do imho.

pretty certain it's not my cup of tea, but i'd be courious to hear if anybody around here"s seen this bass before:

This seems overpriced to me but is a really nice looking bass, I like the understated look of the cocobolo top on this one. The hum canceller was probably ordered so that the instrument could be converted to Series electronics at a later date. The conversion would still be expensive, though, making the price on this one even less attractive.

The SN in the serial number is for Shop Night. This one is part of a collection of a former employee being sold. (and some mighty cool ones they had...)

you must have a memory like an elephant.  id completely forgotten about that one.

my memory otoh is pleasantly clouded by my daily medication regimen.  im lucky to remember where i put my glasses most of the time. been a long day of toil and tears in the hot sun at el rancho BeenDown. looks like it's it's time for therapy again.  whooOO00Oooo!
