old gig pictures

This is me on my Army post in Hawaii back around 91-92' Notice the top horn of my Alembic Distillate. I Don't remember the year of the bass. I bought it in Honolulu for $872 on consignment. I can't believe I sold it in Frankfurt Germany in 98! Can anyone tell what type of wood it is? Check the pictures below.

 Stupid stand was in the way when someone took the picture. Here is a better picture of more of the Distillate. It was about an 80's model. This was an Army ball at Schoefield, Barracks Hawaii in early 1992. We Jammed all night!
