Here's another one:
Fairly new (2020) Fender Strat hardtail, Robert Cray Signature model. Has a little squiggly siggy on the headstock too, from the Smokin' Gun, his own self. Well, not really.
You can read up on these yourself... I'm no expert, but here's what I got. I love Robert Cray's music, I'm a sucker for black/cream on sunburst finishes, and I hate tremolo bridges. So I put those criteria together and this one comes along. Really nice feeling maple neck with rosewood board, as opposed to the Mexico Tele necks I just can't love. The hardtail bridge? It sucked. It was absolutely junk. So I bought a nice heavy Kluson replacement. Perfect fit. I finally got the setup where I wanted it, and what can I say... in spite of the Fender choice of pickups on these, some special staggering of the polepieces I'm not smart enough to understand... my old Squier Strat still has something over it for me. Besides that, Brother [elwood blue] wired me up a vintage WD pickguard with an old-old-old set of Seymour Duncans, and a modular harness so I can switch out the electronics with the originals easy-peasy. (on my Squier... this Fender is *bone-stock original* electronics)
So my Robert Cray Signature Strat needs a new home... it will arrive at yours in a nice Fender gig bag. (well-packed of course)
