Happy summer solstice.

Happy Summer Solstice.

Spotted Richard our resident albino deer today!  We haven’t seen him since last August and honestly feared the worse.  Seeing him this evening feels very special and gracious.

Is that from a Vaonis?

Is that from a Vaonis?

No Dave. I have a selection of telescopes and astro cameras but no Vaonis.  This image was taken with a 73mm refractor and chilled CMOS camera.

I'll start a new thread Paul. Don't want to clog up this one.  Might take a while as I'll need to resize them all - I'm typically stacking 30 or more images of 16Mb  and by the time I've processed the image the PNG file is around 13Mb !  I doubt Mica would be happy about that :) although her dad will probably be interested
