awesome!
if i wasn't already fixed up in the series II department that baby would be on its way to the house o' BeenDown already. 35" scale.  whoo00O00oo!   probably not for the short of stature or stubby of fingers. 😎

That's a lovely looking monster.  Interesting though, the pickup spacing seems so tight that it makes me wonder if it's actually a 32" scale...?

Oh man. Oh woman, for that matter.  ::)

Agree Jimmy, it looks oddly spaced, but I wonder if it might be an optical trick from a those pickups being the larger 5/6 molds, and a wider profiled neck? (you and me being used to pretty tight 5-strings over 4-string sized pickups...) The three ebony (?) neck laminates look almost like full thickness on this Dragon too. Which probably helps account for a lot of that 14-1/2 lbs of awesomeness.

There's no way I'd get through a 2-set night with it. But I'd have a big smile until my poor old spine gave out.

Looks like the bridge pickup sits a little further away from the bridge than usual. The neck pickup also a little further away from the neck, though the regular position for that appears to have moved in that direction.

Ah, larger pickups, could be.  Never mind.   :)

I don't see this bass listed as sold on either Reverb or eBay. Was it also listed elsewhere?

Longer 35" scale adds room on either side of the pickups, so they are actually farther from the neck and bridge.

Surprised half an inch either way would look so much different. :)
