Every day now, my local Crows appear when I step outside. Sometimes just a family unit of about eight birds, and occasionally a large group of over 20. My local relationship with them spans over a decade back, to when I offered help and nourishment to an injured individual Crow. Soon thereafter, it seems that more of them showed up to bid me hello.
They often follow me as I walk down the street. Yesterday they followed me for quite a long time, close to a mile in distance as I walked to the bank and the post office. Need I mention that I have treats for them ?
They love unsalted peanuts in the shell. As well, I offer them daily staple nutrition in the way of cat kibble and clean water. I really LOVE them. It is my belief that when we as humans befriend wild creatures, that such a bond can serve as our Portal into the Universe.
