Qs for Mica

Hi, Mica!  The Skylark-with-a-Byrdland-scale-neck idea continues to percolate.  (Hmm...SkyLARK...BYRDland...hmm....)  Since I can't wrap my hands around a Skylark neck, some questions:  
  1)  How would you characterize a Skylark neck  
      profile?  (C-shaped?  D-shaped?  Rounded-V
      shaped?  I wonder about how the shoulders
      come away from the fretboard edge.  Are  
      you able to compare the neck profile to  
      that of any other popular guitar?)
  2)  How do the HG and HGR pickups compare?
These message boards are fascinating--love the pics of instruments in process.

1) The default neck shape is more of a C-shape. Of course you can order any neck shape you like.
 
2) HG and HGR differ only in their cosmetics. HGRs have 4-mounting holes and those cool curved sides. Internally they are identical.
