No Skipping on quality
« on: November 02, 2021, 02:40:24 PM »
Because we have grown to expect the high build quality of these alembics sometimes it's easy to forget that the things we don't pay much attention to are still made to the same standard as the rest of the instrument.
Yesterday I changed the batteries in my Series II Europa for the first time in ages and took the opportunity to see how the continuous backplates were put together and i was really impressed how much effort went into making them so accurately and aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.
How easy would it be to use the standard plastic battery holders on most other active basses?
But no they do this instead. Impressive.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

yeah, a few months ago i went to change the LED batteries on the mighty MK deluxe and was astounded when i pulled the battery plate to find that just as much attention went into it as the top of the bass.

crazy, daddy-o!

Been down...now i'm out!

Yep.  True craftsmanship. Proudly developed and constructed by individuals that care.

Paul (who recognizes that the above statement is becoming rare in this world and also greatly appreciates being an Owner of such a fabulous instrument/ piece of art… knowing this will transfer to my son and then hopefully to his son/ daughter and the legacy will live on.  I envision a Stradivarian type legacy here)
