well if it's actually functional and the price is not a misprint, that's a smokin' price by my calculations: $581.91 USD plus another $122.70 to get it shipped over here.  i'd almost go for that, but then another cycle of money-intensive madness would follow:  i'd have to have a 2-channel tube power amp. then a couple of nice, small, good sounding cabinets.  a rack.  power conditioner.  maybe another series I or II so that i'd have a coupla more stereo basses to play.

yahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....

All those things you see as money-incentive madness sound like positive actions to me.  ;) 8)

indeed.  however, i don't gig any more, i live in a 500 sq.ft. townhome, my back and my shoulders hate me enough when i play sitting down and i'm already deaf as a post from 46 years of standing between my stack and an overzealous drummer.  a significant part of my living area is already taken up by basses that i can only play one at a time.

but on the plus side, my neighbors have yet to complain about my playing even when i get well-baked to greet the dawn on the weekends with the mighty ampeg vibrating the floor and the PJB boosting the top end.  facing the music in full stereo has its attractions but i'm trying not to spend my golden years eating peanut butter and ramien noodles in a cold townhome while sleeping on the floor because i had to get rid of all my furniture to feed my GAS.
